THE TRAINER

Before I became a personal trainer, I had a personal trainer. I always questioned the rationale of why my trainer had me do certain exercises, and sometimes I was left wondering. For that reason, I picked up my first course to better understand and optimize my own fitness.

In 2006, I studied and became a certified trainer and started working in a small gym. Over the next 16 years, the setting changed a few times, but I haven't stopped training since. Nothing else is as rewarding or fulfilling as watching the people I work with progress toward their goals. I have continued to learn and improve my craft by keeping an open mind and incorporating new modalities.

I have trained people from all walks of life, from high school students to stay-at-home moms, athletes, and military to post-surgery rehab.

Outside of training, I am a proud soldier still serving in the Army Reserves and spend my free time outdoors hiking, camping, and snowboarding as well as many other active hobbies.

Currently, I train exclusively at the Grand Tier, a Glenwood Management property.
